Original “Eye of Ra” master mold used in the production of the long running science fiction series Stargate SG-1. A team of explorers made up of soldiers and scientists travels through a Stargate, an ancient portal to other planets. They use the Stargate to explore new worlds, forge ties with friendly civilizations and protect Earth from hostile forces. The TV series is based on the theatrical film `Stargate’.

The Eye of Ra was an ancient Egyptian symbol and also a power source hidden on Abydos by Ra. Anubis powered his super weapon by gathering the Eye of Ra and other Eyes belonging to the Goa’uld. This piece is made of resin that is backed on a piece of wood. The eye features every intricate details in a circular pattern and was created to make a mold of, then cast the original prop seen on scree. This piece remains in excellent, production used condition.
